About Our Directors
WebKnowHow Limited are primarily a family-run business based in Nantwich in Cheshire. With a good thirty years combined information technology and design experience, we're confident we have the mileage under our belts to satisfy our clients needs with ease.
Stephen McGrath - Managing Director:
Steve has a long and chequered career history spanning some eighteen years! His naturally chatty and outgoing personality lead him into sales-oriented roles, beginning in the eary days with mobile telephones and electrical equipment. Not one for the joyful pressures of retail, and wanting to push himself just that little bit more, he moved into the recruitment industry. He began recruiting for temporary Building and Construction staff and was successful in pushing turnover up by a remarkable amount. He then moved into Technical recruitment and eventually moved into a management role. He managed a large team of recruiters and was responsible for increasing turnover by almost 30%, as well as running the IT side of the business, including all the equipment and networks for this 50-man office, and the website design and upkeep!
Being a devoted husband and a father of three young children, it took very careful consideration to go it alone, and WebKnowHow Limited was finally born in 2001. Thankfully, Steve has not looked back since!
Helen McGrath - Director/Company Secretary:
Helen also has a sales background, originally starting her working career as a sales assistant for an exclusive chain of Jewellers, where she happily remained for five years. A relocation to the countryside heralded a career change into an administrative role, as an office assistant within a busy import/export company. Learning of an opportunity of a ground-floor position in a financial recruitment company, Helen jumped at the chance to be a part of this successful business. Beginning her recruiting life as an Office Junior, four years later when she finally left due to pregnancy Helen was the Office Manager, responsible for a dynamic team of administrators, as well as the IT equipment and general network infastructure. For the past six years, Helen has been, and still is, a devoted wife and mother of three young children. Helen handles the administrative side of the business, and with her creative mind, empathic nature, and an eye for colour and style, is also responsible for most of the website design concepts we produce for our clients.
